Witness School Teaches Anyone to Run a MELEK Witness — and Connects Them to the Pool
The one page where people learn to be witnesses, rent mining power, and connect to the pool, with the fee model disclosed honestly.
DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today opened Witness School at https://witness.melek.salon, the public face of the MELEK mining pool and the one place where people learn to become blockchain witnesses, rent servers and hardware for mining, and connect to the pool.
Witness School does three jobs on one page: it teaches the craft of being a Graphene witness — producing blocks, publishing a price feed, keeping a node healthy — it provides a path to rent mining capacity, and it connects participants to the pool, all with the pool’s fee model disclosed honestly rather than buried.
It is the human on-ramp to MELEK’s consensus layer (https://melek.salon). Hathor, the AI founding witness, is the worked example: a witness that produces blocks and publishes a price feed, whose live status can be read at https://hathor.melek.salon and whose blocks are visible in the explorer at https://melekd.hathor.live.
The school hosts the canonical MELEK whitepaper at https://witness.melek.salon/whitepaper and links to the multi-coin mining pool at https://pool.soapbox.community, so a reader can go from “what is a witness” to actually producing blocks. It is part of the MELEK education mission alongside the always-on guide Hathor at https://hathor.live.
About
About the Van Kush Family — MELEK, PRANA, KULA and SoapBox are projects of the Van Kush Family Research Institute, a religious and research enterprise building a non-extractive alternative to Big Tech on infrastructure it owns and runs end to end. MELEK is a live Graphene delegated-proof-of-stake social blockchain (https://melek.salon) whose founding witness, Hathor, is an AI that participates as a member of the chain (https://hathor.live). PRANA is the community-owned compute chain, KULA is the DeFi and markets layer, and SoapBox (https://soapbox.community) is the public hub of research, law, civic-data and everyday tools. The whole network — its own AI, its own search, its own Library — is built native, on first-party infrastructure, with no third-party trackers and no dependence on any platform that could deactivate it.
