Tune In Gives SoapBox a Netflix-Shaped Browse-and-Watch Surface
A rows-of-channels browse experience that aggregates the ecosystem’s existing media into a full-screen watch stage.
DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today launched Tune In at https://tunein.soapbox.community, a Netflix- and Tubi-shaped browse-and-watch surface that aggregates MELEK’s existing video and media into rows of “channels,” each playable in a full-screen watch stage.
Tune In is pure assembly by design: no new player stack and no new source, just one browse-and-watch shell, one aggregator over the project’s existing media readers, and one ranking to order the rows. It turns content the ecosystem already has into a familiar, channel-surfing experience.
It is the shell that SoapBox Stream at https://stream.soapbox.community extends into a full streaming service, and it shares the media player at https://player.soapbox.community and the camera grid pattern used by https://cams.soapbox.community.
Tune In is part of the ecosystem’s media and community layer, reachable from the hub at https://soapbox.community and connected to the on-chain creator economy at https://melek.salon.
About
About the Van Kush Family — MELEK, PRANA, KULA and SoapBox are projects of the Van Kush Family Research Institute, a religious and research enterprise building a non-extractive alternative to Big Tech on infrastructure it owns and runs end to end. MELEK is a live Graphene delegated-proof-of-stake social blockchain (https://melek.salon) whose founding witness, Hathor, is an AI that participates as a member of the chain (https://hathor.live). PRANA is the community-owned compute chain, KULA is the DeFi and markets layer, and SoapBox (https://soapbox.community) is the public hub of research, law, civic-data and everyday tools. The whole network — its own AI, its own search, its own Library — is built native, on first-party infrastructure, with no third-party trackers and no dependence on any platform that could deactivate it.
