The SoapBox Library Opens a Public-Domain-First Books and Documents Surface

The “Scribd side” of the Resource Center — public-domain books and documents, finally served.

DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today launched the SoapBox Library at https://library.soapbox.community, the public-domain-first books and documents surface — the reading room of the ecosystem.

The Library is the served front end over the project’s open-books reader, the “Scribd side” of the Resource Center that had been built but mounted nowhere. It makes public-domain books and documents browsable and readable in one place.

It is distinct from, and complementary to, the Library of Ashurbanipal at https://wiki.soapbox.community — the project’s own cross-linked reference encyclopedia — and the sacred-texts map at https://hierophant.soapbox.community.

The SoapBox Library is reachable from the hub at https://soapbox.community and searchable alongside the whole network at https://search.soapbox.community, part of the family’s knowledge layer and its aim to be its own library rather than depend on anyone else’s.

About

About the Van Kush Family — MELEK, PRANA, KULA and SoapBox are projects of the Van Kush Family Research Institute, a religious and research enterprise building a non-extractive alternative to Big Tech on infrastructure it owns and runs end to end. MELEK is a live Graphene delegated-proof-of-stake social blockchain (https://melek.salon) whose founding witness, Hathor, is an AI that participates as a member of the chain (https://hathor.live). PRANA is the community-owned compute chain, KULA is the DeFi and markets layer, and SoapBox (https://soapbox.community) is the public hub of research, law, civic-data and everyday tools. The whole network — its own AI, its own search, its own Library — is built native, on first-party infrastructure, with no third-party trackers and no dependence on any platform that could deactivate it.
