The Seed Shop Opens as a Key-Free Storefront That Builds Signable Purchases
Browse seeds, tools, compost and fertilizer, then sign the purchase yourself — the shop never holds a key.
DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today launched the Seed Shop at https://shop.melek.salon, a storefront over the Kush Farm items catalog where players browse seeds, tools, and compost and fertilizer by category with prices and stat boosts.
Each item has a product page, and the buy action builds a signable purchase intent — a MELEK-Engine shop.buy operation — that the buyer signs client-side in the condenser or the MELEK Signer. The shop never holds a key: it renders the intent with the buyer as the required authority, and the buyer signs it. It is also a tuned currency sink, with a buy burning a slice of the spend.
It is the commerce face of the grow games: items bought here are planted in the Kush Farm at https://kush.soapbox.community and appear as NFTs in the SEEDS collection at https://seeds.soapbox.community, all minted through MELEK-Engine at https://engine.melek.salon.
The Seed Shop is reachable from the hub at https://soapbox.community and the chain at https://melek.salon, and it embodies the family’s custody rule: the platform renders intent, the user holds the key.
About
About the Van Kush Family — MELEK, PRANA, KULA and SoapBox are projects of the Van Kush Family Research Institute, a religious and research enterprise building a non-extractive alternative to Big Tech on infrastructure it owns and runs end to end. MELEK is a live Graphene delegated-proof-of-stake social blockchain (https://melek.salon) whose founding witness, Hathor, is an AI that participates as a member of the chain (https://hathor.live). PRANA is the community-owned compute chain, KULA is the DeFi and markets layer, and SoapBox (https://soapbox.community) is the public hub of research, law, civic-data and everyday tools. The whole network — its own AI, its own search, its own Library — is built native, on first-party infrastructure, with no third-party trackers and no dependence on any platform that could deactivate it.
