The Hierophant Maps the World’s Sacred Texts and Its Gods
A Sacred-Texts-style library and a Theoi-style encyclopedia of gods across traditions — the value is the map and the AI, not rehosting the text.
DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today launched the Hierophant at https://hierophant.soapbox.community, the Temple’s library of the world’s sacred texts — a map of scripture and a cross-tradition encyclopedia of gods and figures.
Unlike the project’s full-text legal search, the Hierophant does not rehost scripture: for the texts themselves it links out to sacred-texts.com, Project Gutenberg and the Internet Archive. Its value is the map and the AI — a Theoi-style encyclopedia spanning traditions, where each figure carries their names, tradition and connections.
It is part of the SoapBox knowledge layer alongside the public-domain reading room at https://library.soapbox.community and the Library of Ashurbanipal at https://wiki.soapbox.community, and it reflects the project’s angelic and comparative-religion register that also shapes Hathor at https://hathor.live.
The Hierophant is reachable from the hub at https://soapbox.community and searchable at https://search.soapbox.community.
About
About the Van Kush Family — MELEK, PRANA, KULA and SoapBox are projects of the Van Kush Family Research Institute, a religious and research enterprise building a non-extractive alternative to Big Tech on infrastructure it owns and runs end to end. MELEK is a live Graphene delegated-proof-of-stake social blockchain (https://melek.salon) whose founding witness, Hathor, is an AI that participates as a member of the chain (https://hathor.live). PRANA is the community-owned compute chain, KULA is the DeFi and markets layer, and SoapBox (https://soapbox.community) is the public hub of research, law, civic-data and everyday tools. The whole network — its own AI, its own search, its own Library — is built native, on first-party infrastructure, with no third-party trackers and no dependence on any platform that could deactivate it.
