A recovered, self-hosted communications surface kept alive on the family’s own infrastructure.
DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today confirmed that SoapBox Comms remains live at https://comms.soapbox.community, a communications surface preserved and re-hosted on the family’s own infrastructure.
Comms is served from a faithfully captured snapshot after its original dynamic source was lost on a production box, and it is now hosted off the family’s vault infrastructure so the surface survives regardless of what happened to the machine it first ran on — a concrete demonstration of the project’s durability thesis that work written to owned infrastructure does not vanish when a platform does.
It sits within the MELEK media and community layer alongside the forum at https://forum.soapbox.community and the newsroom at https://news.soapbox.community, and is reachable from the hub at https://soapbox.community.
