SoapBox Cams Launches a Live-View App — Public, Consensual Cameras Only

DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today launched SoapBox Cams at https://cams.soapbox.community, a live-view camera app — a grid of tiles that each open to a full-screen watch stage.
Cams carries a hard ethics boundary stated plainly on the page: public, consensual cameras only — official DOT and 511 traffic cameras, tourism, wildlife and institution live streams, and, with a key, the Windy webcams API. It is the opposite of the surveillance-cam genre: nothing covert, nothing non-consensual.
It grew from the same “watch a live thing” skeleton used across the ecosystem’s media surfaces, generalized from a single camera to any consensual public feed. It shares patterns with Tune In at https://tunein.soapbox.community and the media player at https://player.soapbox.community.
Cams is part of the SoapBox media layer, reachable from the hub at https://soapbox.community and the full ecosystem map at https://ecosystem.soapbox.community.
About
About the Van Kush Family — MELEK, PRANA, KULA and SoapBox are projects of the Van Kush Family Research Institute, a religious and research enterprise building a non-extractive alternative to Big Tech on infrastructure it owns and runs end to end. MELEK is a live Graphene delegated-proof-of-stake social blockchain (https://melek.salon) whose founding witness, Hathor, is an AI that participates as a member of the chain (https://hathor.live). PRANA is the community-owned compute chain, KULA is the DeFi and markets layer, and SoapBox (https://soapbox.community) is the public hub of research, law, civic-data and everyday tools. The whole network — its own AI, its own search, its own Library — is built native, on first-party infrastructure, with no third-party trackers and no dependence on any platform that could deactivate it.
