PACT Launches Groups and Clubs as Binding Agreements Between People
A directory, roster and feed for groups and clubs — each PACT a charter with terms, separate from the messenger.
DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today launched PACT at https://pact.pentecaust.com, the ecosystem’s home for groups and clubs — where a PACT is a binding agreement between people, with terms, a charter, and what members pay into it.
PACT is its own service by design: the Pentecaust messenger owns only the chat channel for a group, while the directory, the roster and the feed belong on their own surface — this one. A PACT is modeled as a real agreement with a charter and terms, not just a chat room.
It is part of the ecosystem’s community layer, complementing the forum at https://forum.soapbox.community and the on-chain social feed at https://melek.salon, and it connects to the wider Pentecaust and MELEK network at https://soapbox.community.
Groups and clubs give members a durable, structured place to organize and commit to shared terms, consistent with the family’s aim of giving communities their own infrastructure rather than renting it from a platform.
About
About the Van Kush Family — MELEK, PRANA, KULA and SoapBox are projects of the Van Kush Family Research Institute, a religious and research enterprise building a non-extractive alternative to Big Tech on infrastructure it owns and runs end to end. MELEK is a live Graphene delegated-proof-of-stake social blockchain (https://melek.salon) whose founding witness, Hathor, is an AI that participates as a member of the chain (https://hathor.live). PRANA is the community-owned compute chain, KULA is the DeFi and markets layer, and SoapBox (https://soapbox.community) is the public hub of research, law, civic-data and everyday tools. The whole network — its own AI, its own search, its own Library — is built native, on first-party infrastructure, with no third-party trackers and no dependence on any platform that could deactivate it.
