DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today presents MELEK-Engine at https://engine.melek.salon, a Hive-Engine-style layer-2 token sidechain for the MELEK (Graphene) chain that lets anyone create and manage side tokens.
MELEK-Engine is the ecosystem’s answer to Hive-Engine: a read-only node streams blocks from the MELEK L1, filters the relevant custom_json operations, and executes a built-in tokens contract deterministically, keeping all state — tokens, balances, the issuance log — in a single file with a published SHA-256 state hash. Same chain history produces the same state, so anyone can re-derive and verify it.
By construction the node holds no key and never broadcasts: token creation and offerings happen through signed operations on the L1, so custody always stays with the user. It is token issuance without a DEX today, but DEX-ready — the future PRANA DEX plugs in the way TribalDEX sits beside Hive-Engine, via the KULA swap layer at https://kula.money.
MELEK-Engine underpins the ecosystem’s SCOT-style tokens, surfaced in the unified tokens portal at https://melek.salon/tokens, and is the mint behind game assets such as the PRANA seed NFTs at https://seeds.soapbox.community. It runs on the live MELEK testnet (https://melek.salon) and its security posture is documented publicly in the project repository.
