DALLAS–FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The Van Kush Family today launched Congress in alpha at https://alpha.congress.ink (and https://alpha.congress.beauty), a short-form social front end — a Graphene “Twitter/X clone” — reading the MELEK testnet chain.
The timeline is server-rendered directly from the chain, so it is SEO-friendly and needs no key to read, while composing, replying and liking are done keylessly through MELEK-Signer — “login with MELEK” — client-side. The server itself holds no key, signs nothing and broadcasts nothing; all authority stays with the user.
It demonstrates that MELEK is a full social substrate: the same on-chain posts at https://melek.salon can be read and written through a familiar short-form interface. It sits in the family’s civic layer near the politics vertical at https://politics.soapbox.community.
Congress is reachable from the hub at https://soapbox.community and reflects the project’s architecture of SSR reads plus keyless client-side signing, the same model the whole ecosystem uses to keep custody with the member.
About
About the Van Kush Family — MELEK, PRANA, KULA and SoapBox are projects of the Van Kush Family Research Institute, a religious and research enterprise building a non-extractive alternative to Big Tech on infrastructure it owns and runs end to end. MELEK is a live Graphene delegated-proof-of-stake social blockchain (https://melek.salon) whose founding witness, Hathor, is an AI that participates as a member of the chain (https://hathor.live). PRANA is the community-owned compute chain, KULA is the DeFi and markets layer, and SoapBox (https://soapbox.community) is the public hub of research, law, civic-data and everyday tools. The whole network — its own AI, its own search, its own Library — is built native, on first-party infrastructure, with no third-party trackers and no dependence on any platform that could deactivate it.
